MONA is a local social and support group for mothers who primarily stay at home with their children, including those who have home-based businesses or work part-time but are home with their children during the day. We understand the evolution and ever-changing situations of the caregiver and welcome expectant and working moms to be part of MONA and utilize our many resources as well.

We offer support, friendship, fun activities, and informative events for our members. For more information about the history and development of MONA, please click here!

MONA plans many events every month for our members, including monthly socials and a large variety of activities to do with our children. We also have a monthly Mom's Night Out event!

In addition to the formal activities, we offer several ways to support each other including, playgroups, a babysitting co-op, and Moms Helping Moms a group that brings dinners to mothers and their families during the first weeks after the birth of a new baby. We also have several special interest groups which allow our moms a chance to get together with others who share similar interests.

Members receive a monthly newsletter via email which includes a list of upcoming activities, along with other great club information and articles.

Our members also have access to the "members only" sections of the website and the Yahoo Groups Email Forums. The website features information on all current club activities and events, archives of past newsletter articles, a preschool directory, membership directory, MONA owned business directory and a comprehensive list of member recommendations, on almost any topic you can imagine. We also utilize Yahoo Groups for our Email Forums where we share news, swap baby equipment and maternity clothing, and more.

If you have a new baby, a challenging toddler, a spouse/partner who works a lot, a child who would enjoy interaction with others his age, or you simply want to meet other moms in the area, we'd love to have you as a member!
